Über mich

Ich bin eine 25-jährige Künstlerin aus Österreich und habe im Dezember 2018 angefangen, mit Acrylfarben zu experimentieren.  Ich war neugierig darauf, wie Künstler vor Jahrhunderten malten oder was ein Künstler tun könnte, wenn es keine Acryl- oder Ölfarben zu kaufen gibt. Also begann ich mit Asche, Kohle und Kaffee zu experimentieren. Später habe ich auch Erde, Mehl, Heilerde, Zimt, Paprikapulver, Pfeffer, Zucker, Maca Pulver und Gerstengraspulver in meine Bilder integriert.

Eines Tages kam ich auf die Idee, verschiedene Arten von Gras zusammen mit Federn oder Blättern auf das Bild zu legen, um ein Gemälde zu schaffen, das nicht nur wie eine Wiese aussieht, sondern auch aus dieser besteht. Ich arbeite mit einer Vielzahl von natürlichen Materialien, die ich entweder kaufe oder selbst im Wald oder auf der Wiese suche. Zusätzlich verwende ich echtes Blattgold, Blattsilber und Weißgold.

Abgesehen davon schreibe ich seit Mai 2018, nach einer langen Pause, wieder regelmäßig Gedichte. Ein Jahr darauf, im Mai 2019, habe ich begonnen, meine eigenen Klavierstücke zu komponieren.

About me

I am a 25-year-old artist from Austria and in December 2018, I started experimenting with acrylic paints. I then fell in love with the process of making abstract art. About one year later I got the urge to try something new and that something new should have something to do with nature. I got curious on how artists painted centuries ago or what an artist could do if acrylic paint is not available for purchase. So I started to experiment with ash, coal and coffee. Later on, I tried incorporating soil, flour, healing clay, cinnamon, paprika powder and so on in my paintings as well. 

One day I got the idea to put different kind of grass along with feathers or leaves on top of the painting to create a painting that does not only look like a field but consists of it as well. I work with a wide variety of natural materials, which I either buy or look for myself. I collect the grass, leaves and other materials in the forest in my area. In addition, I use real gold leaf, silver leaf and white gold. 

Apart from that, I have been writing poetry regularly again since May 2018, after a long break. A year later, in May 2019, I started composing my own piano pieces.
